We had an amazing run up at Oracle Open World in San Francisco this week.
Our team talked with hundreds of DBA's, system architects, financiers and companies about our ability to bring object oriented benefits to the Oracle database. It was perfectly timed. Helping our message were the ever increasing “pain points” caused by mountains of unstructured data, the vulnerabilities of the traditional file system and the need for agile, efficient DEVops in the face of it all.
Turns out we’re even in tune with CEO Larry Ellison’s assessment of Amazon vs Oracle in the cloud. Both his keynotes were aimed straight at Amazon's S3 and web services - exactly the target we're taking on with our software modules for the Oracle database. Our poster for the show even had the tagline "Asterion plus Oracle trumps Amazon." Here's a link to what Larry Ellison had to say: Larry-ellison-says-amazon-is-20-years-behind-oracle
We’ve brought home a list of companies that are ready to incorporate Asterion into their systems and we’re looking at a solid pipeline of work going into the first Quarter of 2017! In other words, we've exceeded even our most ambitious expectations.
